Oak Leaf In Your Community

Oak Leaf Manor and Oak Leaf Manor North have been active members of the community for many years.  As family-owned and operated businesses, we understand the importance of working together with friends and neighbors to affect positive change in our world, which begins right here at home.

Oak Leaf Manor Millersville is an active member of the Millersville Business Association (MBA), and hosts that group’s monthly meeting.  Oak Leaf Manor Millersville also is involved with the Penn Manor Education Foundation (PMEF), which supports educational goals in that school district; the Millersville Vision 2020 Initiative, which brings businesses, schools, and community together to set goals for the future of the town; and, the Annual Millersville Community Parade, which is held every fall.  Oak Leaf Manor Millersville hosts a free Pre-Parade Mixer the night before the Parade for all participants and sponsors.

Many resident activities and events are free and open to the public, including musical performances and shows. For example, the employees and residents of Oak Leaf Manor and Oak Leaf Manor North welcome members of the community into our home by hosting “Safe Halloween” each October.

Oak Leaf Manor North plays an active role in the East Hempfield Rotary and hosts a number of their events annually.  Other groups with which our Landisville community is affiliated include Sertoma; the Alzheimer’s Association’s Annual Memory Walk, in which Oak Leaf Manor North’s employees take an active role; and Meals on Wheels, which both our Millersville and Landisville communities supply with menu items and volunteer support on a regular basis.

Activity calendars are available online and members of the community, as well as residents’ family and guests, are welcome to join in the fun.
